Known as Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, it feels different from older temples, cleaner and calmer, with kirtans that pull a crowd from around the globe. 

Timings: opens near 4:30 AM, has an afternoon break, and closes near 8:30 PM. 

Aartis: Mangala 4:30 AM, Shringar 8:30 AM, Sandhya 6:30 PM.

3. Prem Mandir, Vrindavan 

One of the newer structures compared to other ones, but it is quite clear. The marble sculpture on this structure is quite detailed, as well as the nightly fountain performance.

Darshan: about 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM. 

Fountain show: 7:30 to 8:00 PM summer, 7:00 to 7:30 PM winter.

4. Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, Mathura

7. Radha Raman Temple, Vrindavan 

Quieter than Banke Bihari, its worship style has barely changed in centuries, feeling older and more personal. 

Timings: opens early morning, has an afternoon break, and reopens until roughly 9:00 PM.

8. Vishram Ghat, Mathura 

where Krishna rested after defeating Kansa, and today is one of the finest spots to catch the Yamuna Aarti at dusk. Boats are available too. 

Best time: evening, near sunset.

9. Govardhan Hill and Parikrama 

A short drive from the main towns, tied to the story of Krishna lifting the hill to shield villagers from a storm. Most people walk the parikrama, so an early start helps. A tempo traveller rental in Mathura is usually simpler than booking separate cabs. 

Best time: early morning, before the heat sets in.

10. Radha Vallabh Temple, Vrindavan 

Instead of a separate idol for Radha, this temple places a crown beside Krishna to represent her, which surprises most visitors.
